Subject:"This is people that wanna come and hurt your family"

Another one on one interview with Bush.

This is great, I hope he does more of these. The interviewer doesn't let him off the hook about the secret American gulags and torture camps. At one point he looks like he's actually about to start screaming at Bush's babbling drivel.

Lenny Bruce said that "should be" never existed, that there is "only what there is"

or something like that

What there is

right now,

is insanely Fucked Up. I'm feeling like I'm beginning to wake up in a bizarre dark future sci-fi movie, probably featuring Charlton Heston, and almost certainly starring the big floating head from Zardoz.

Is this really Earth?

What are they not telling us?

Subject:UK Terror Plot - official story already starting to unravel

"The London terror plan was "known" last Sunday by British and American authorities, according to the Indian press. American Airlines flight 109 from London Heathrow to Boston boarded a family of five, however, after the plane left Heathrow authorities determined that the father appeared on a British suspect list drawn up after the 7/7 London transit attacks. At first, the pilot was instructed to fly all the way to Boston where U.S. authorities could claim credit for apprehending the suspect. However, the pilot, fearing for the safety of his passengers and crew, refused and quickly returned to Heathrow without informing the passengers. Once on the ground, it was discovered that the male had in his carry-on baggage the type of combination liquid explosive and electronic device now being hyped by the British and American media."

Rupert Murdoch and Tony Blair cooked and hyped the entire thing up, to get Blair's 90 day detention without charge bill passed, and to keep the heat off him as the Labour party revolt against him. This shouldn't really come as any great surprise to anyone who has been following UK politics for any length of time. Brown wants the troops out of Iraq, and Blair is playing the security card to stay in control.

Now the airports are in chaos, travellers are paranoid to the point of complete moronity, and middle england slowly descends into a cesspit of racism.

Subject:And in comes the new law...

Exactly how they've been doing it in the US since 911

Crank up the fear, engineer a big security scare, then push through the new legislation.

[TONY Blair is planning to push through 90-day detention without charge for terror suspects following the alleged plot to murder thousands of airline passengers by blowing their jets out of the sky.

Senior ministers believe public concern about terrorism is now at such a level that they will be able to reintroduce the controversial detention powers, which were rejected in favour of a 28-day limit following the 7/7 attacks.

A senior government source confirmed that Blair, Chancellor Gordon Brown and Home Secretary John Reid all believed that the UK's apparently narrow escape from a major disaster proved the case for a clamp-down on "the enemy within".]

So the ONLY legislation that Tony Blair has suffered a defeat on, is now going to go through. This was a highly controversial piece of legislation, and Blair completely failed to convince parliament that it was necessary.

Subject:"An attack was not imminent" - senior british official

Some of the suspects didn't even have passports:

"LONDON - NBC News has learned that U.S. and British authorities had a significant disagreement over when to move in on the suspects in the alleged plot to bring down trans-Atlantic airliners bound for the United States.

A senior British official knowledgeable about the case said British police were planning to continue to run surveillance for at least another week to try to obtain more evidence, while American officials pressured them to arrest the suspects sooner. The official spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the case.

In contrast to previous reports, the official suggested an attack was not imminent, saying the suspects had not yet purchased any airline tickets. In fact, some did not even have passports."

The Americans pressured the UK into the arrests:

"Another U.S. official, however, acknowledges there was disagreement over timing. Analysts say that in recent years, American security officials have become edgier than the British in such cases because of missed opportunities leading up to 9/11."

If the British hadn't arrested them, the Americans would have rendered them, probably sent them to one of their torture camps like Guantanamo.

All that the intensified airport security is going to do, is to do exactly what it did in the US - polarise the entire nation into people who believe it's necessary, and people who believe it's taking away freedoms and rights. The cold hard facts of the failure of the new aviation security in the US would tend to back up the latter... It's madness.

Now everybody is going to be treated like a terrorist. Airport security was already completely over the top, I dread to think what it's going to be like now.

It's probably a bit rude to repost someone's comment from another blog, but this demands to be posted...

"Please google wikipedia entry 'Stern Gang'
to be reminded of the following:
The founding of the state of Israel was based on a racist ideology inmplemented by terrorism. Fast forward to 2006 when the rogue nations of Bush's cabal brand an organization of freedom fighters (Hezbollah) with the "terrorist" label."

It's so simple it's scary. When any number of people are faced with an undeniable truth, you'd scarcely find a difference of opinion between them. And to quote Terrence McKenna, "If the truth is explained in such a way as to be understood, it WILL be believed."

Subject:Throw Away Your TV

The internet is now officially replacing television as the UK's primary content delivery system according to the results of a YouGov survey announced 9th August 2006.

Which means that people are finally realising that TV programmes are in fact merely a method for delivering advertising to targeted audiences.

I've been telling everyone I know this for months- turn off your TV, tune into the internet for your news, information and entertainment.

There is no more profound or striking example of this than the way that mainstream television currently presents the ongoing middle east conflict between Isreal and Lebanon, and the actual facts and unfiltered reportage of the situation as delivered via the internet. The discerning amongst you will know exactly what I mean - especially those of you in the US.

Quote me on this; Television is dead. Newspapers are dead. Mainstream delivery of content is dead.

I was fortunate enough to be in a situation a couple of months ago where I was dicussing this exact statement with some fairly super-wealthy businessmen in the US with ties to Holywood, congress and mainstream mass media delivery systems. These guys aren't interested in the wealth of documentaries, independent news and content delivered via the likes of Youtube and Google video... because they don't see a money making opportunity in it. In other words, if they riddled it with advertising the punters would move elsewhere.

The website throwawayyourtv.com kicked off a few months ago, delivering sporadic links to documentaries, entertainment and newsworthy items. I emailed the guy who runs it, told him I reckoned it would one day be one of the most successful blogs on the internet. He hit a million unique visitors a couple of weeks ago and is now posting full documentaries laced with information that the media organisations and mass media corporations simply do not want you to know about. And I'm not talking tinfoil hat stuff either - painfully researched, categorical and TRUTHFUL content, delivered right when you want it.

For those of you still watching Big Brother or Celebrity Love Island, or America's Next Top Coke-Head, you are in a slowly shrinking minority of the severly uninformed. The broadcasting corporations are frankly taking the piss, and your money. Such is the power of this new media that I could almost guarantee that if you switched off for ONE DAY, and spent the same amount of time surfing a few sites such as the ones I list below (although you will find your own in a matter of hours), not only would you realise, to your absolute horror, that you have been wasting your money on a cable subscription and TV Licence (if you live in the UK), but that you have been systematically lied to, and had your intelligence abused.

A lot of you reading this will know what I'm talking about - but until you actually take the decision and make the switch, turn off your TV for good, you won't realise the profound extent of the nonsense that is being beamed into your home every single day.

My TV intake has dropped from 15 - 20 hours per week to practically zero in less than 4 months, and I mean that, I'm talking minutes per week if even that. I know what the hell I'm talking about when people are discussing current affairs, because now I am truly informed enough to reach my own conclusions, rather than repeating the talking points on the news. I laugh a hell of a lot more at my monitor than I have done at my TV screen in YEARS, because the content is BETTER. I have discovered new and better music, REAL music, not a bunch of guys working for a PR company trying to look cool on MTV, with a shiny happy single manufactured to a mathematical algorithm to assure a top ten position (seriously, google it)

Now some will say that you cannot believe everything you see or hear on the net. True. You cannot believe everything you hear on a telephone either. Or a newspaper. It isn't the medium that carries the integrity, it's the CONTENT. And the difference with the internet is that we are still lucky enough to have non-filtered content (unless you live in China, thanks to US companies like Cisco hardwiring things to block blogs and content) You don't have to take my word for it - that's the entire point, you have the power and the tools right now to find out for yourself. And if you think I'm wrong, well, you can tell me! You can hold me completely accountable and take me to task for anything I proclaim to be true.

Podcasting, RSS feeds and bittorrent hold the key to the people's media in the immediate future - they are utterly beyond control and utterly beyond profiteering - making them immune to corruption.

Mainstream media will NEVER announce the presence of this powerful new medium. Google is the thin end of the wedge into breaking open the floodgates in China, even though I detest them for their current filtering of information.

There is only one thing I wish from the new generation of netheads and media whizkids and documentary makers- express TRUTH, express INTENT. Let's not get bogged down in expressing OPINION, that's for real life. Let's use the internet to inform and entertain. If everyone is informed with the truth then I'd be willing to bet that everyone, EVERYONE, not one single person excluded, will reach the same conclusion. It's the half truths and lies beamed through the TV everyday by mainstream media that create the lashings of controversy and unbridled friction between people who are, when it comes down to it, all pretty much the same. If we're all told the truth from the outset, there'd be no problem. Ever. EVER.

Don't switch on your TV tonight.

Took me a long time to realise that everything that Alex Jones has been saying for years actually adds up. I recommend you google video 'Alex Jones' if you haven't heard of him; watch some of his rantings.

He went on TV in July 2001 and explicitly said that there was going to be a terrorist attack that would be blamed on Bin Laden.

His stuff is thoroughly and tirelessly researched. He lives in prisonplanet.com.

He is today's inspiration.

"Artist Brian Springer spent a year scouring the airwaves with a satellite dish grabbing back channel news feeds not intended for public consumption. The result of his research is SPIN, one of the most insightful films ever made about the mechanics of how television is used as a tool of social control to distort and limit the American public's perception of reality."
